BSB
Today, while listening to random songs on my iTunes, I came across some music I hadn’t heard in ages. Not to say that I haven’t stumbled across them before and thought to myself: Wow, this brings back memories. My point is that the lyrics have stayed with me all these years.
I took a few moments to correct the track titles in my playlist after looking them up on wikipedia, but I didn’t expect to find that they had released something, not just in the last few years, but the last few months. I happened to have noticed the release of their latest album, “Unbreakable” but didn’t pay much attention. Today, with my brain still asleep (after I printed out 3 individual labels on the printer downstairs each time…) , I took a break and watched the video for their latest single, “Straight Through My Heart.”
I wasn’t a huge BSB fan, but I did buy all of their early CDs (incidentally the reason my mother bought me a cd player for my 10th birthday) and I lip-synced to “As Long As You Love Me” in the 5th grade with 4 other girls in front of the class at a party. Anyway, I became pretty familiar with the members of the band and had a giant poster on my wall.
With its four remaining members in their thirties, Nick being the exception, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by the dancing, and the singing was a lot more polished than I remember. If you’d like to see it for yourself, check it out on YouTube: "Straight Through My Heart".

Happy Thanksgiving!
Just kidding xD *facepalm*. It’s October and yes, I know this. I want to add “already” but time has gone by seemingly pretty slowly thus far this semester. In some ways this is good; other ways bad.
Unfortunately the pressures of being a senior are affecting already. I’ve been trying to keep up/stay ahead with my schoolwork and surprisingly I’ve been doing quite well with that however… my habits of procrastinating have slipped in the direction of my thesis work. And that’s just plain awful.
I can’t wait to go home though. I just want this year to be over already (my thesis and everything completed). I’ll finally be able to start some kind of life away from home and with Rod. I just hope everything comes together in our favor at least.
